Contents of EDU-214 training
This 4-day hands-on lab training delves deeper into the PAN-OS Threat Prevention abilities. After this training you will be able to describe the cyberattack life cycle and recognize various forms of attacks.
What you will learn:
Description of the cyberattack lifecycle recognition of various forms of common attacks
Description of PAN-OS threat prevention abilities
Use of firewall logging and reporting to better design the configuration of your firewall
Configuration of your firewall to detect, block and record threats
What prior knowledge is required?
Participants must have successfully completed the Palo Alto Networks Firewall Essentials (EDU-210) course
Participants must have basic network knowledge (scope: routing, switching and IP addressing)
Participants must be familiar with the traditional role of the firewall in security
Experience with other security technologies (IPS, Proxy, content filtering) is a plus
Certification and subsequent process
This course is an addition to the certification process for the Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE).
