As cyber threats become more sophisticated and widespread, the need for robust cyber resilience strategies has never been greater.

Hear Texas top cybersecurity leaders discuss Texas’ evolving role in public sector cybersecurity. This event will focus on how Texas plans to strengthen its cybersecurity infrastructure and lead efforts like Zero Trust adoption in the public sector in light of both new legislation since the signing of HB 8, the Texas Cybersecurity Act, in 2017 and the current federal policy shift towards state-led security initiatives.

There will be a view into the current cybersecurity threat landscape and a legislative update. Then, participants will engage in roundtable discussion of their key cybersecurity efforts, opportunities, needs, and future goals.

Join hosts Davis Hake, Francesca Lockhart and Demetra Koelling on June 18 for an interactive session designed to exchange ideas, evaluate current threats, and plan actionable strategies for future resilience.

Key questions we’ll explore:

  • What frameworks are needed to align cyber resilience efforts across government, critical infrastructure, and academia?
  • What role can state-level initiatives, such as State Cyber Guards, play in building cyber resilience?
  • How can public-private partnerships be designed to effectively share threat intelligence?
