PAN-EDU-201 – Basic training PANOS4.x
Classroom training, hands-on (lab-module), 2 days
Purpose:
To teach participants basic implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, management and reporting skills.
Requirements:
- Participants need to have basic netwerking knowledge (routing, switching and IP addressing).
- Participants need to be familiar with the traditional role of the firewall in security.
- Experience with other security technology is an advantage.
Target audience:
- Network administrators
- Security managers
- Support personnel.
Certificate:
Participants receive a Essentials 1 package with a certificate.

| VPN | Overview of route-based VPN. Configuring simple and advanced VPN (IPSec and SSL). |

| Expanded Networking Capabilities | Using and configuring: L2, Vwire, Tap interfaces, VLAN tags and Policy Based Forwarding. Creating custom applications and defining application overrides. |
| Data Mining | Using log viewer, defining log filters, creating custom and summary reports, setting report email schedules. |
